Hey VM_6mugam, VMDK's are for VMs. You have to give LUNs to Esxi host.  maximum supported size is 64TB.  The above article talks about open VMDK's on a ESXi host.

The thing is, before I added this line there was only the original vmdk file, even after multiple sessions. It is only after that change that the other ones appeared.I notice many crash logs for this VM.

If you have a ESXi Host that is running more than 30 VM's with each having 2TB VMDK(Virtual machine disk file) then the heap error would pop in.
